I was debating if it was time to swap out my plugs. I have just over 70K km and the car is approaching its 10th year. What plugs would you suggest?
Thanks
David

If you're on the original plugs then absolutely ... I change my plugs at 35k and always notice a big difference in performance and fuel economy.
A lot of people, myself included, think the OEM Ford plugs are the best for Focus even if they are on the pricey side.
I've tried other brands and found them inferior - FWIW.
Edit: you should also absolutely change your spark plug wires too ... the OEMS are good, but if you want a permanent upgrade check out Magnecor
I like the DENSO iridiums
ITV22 is the stock SVTF Plug
ITV24 is 1 step colder than SVTF
ITV27 is 2 steps colder than SVTF
I'm running the ITV27's right now, on the stock plugs I had some issues under boost and high rpms, these ones don't have these issues. 30,000km's and going strong. I think when I swap them out i'll just go with ITV24 I suspect i'll probably get a better burn from these plugs.
Also check check check your timing belt....
