Hey all, I just aquired an '02 SE Wagon. I'm looking to fix it's problems and hop up its performance. I look forward to checking out the forums to see what's up.
Welcome.

There's been some pretty sweet wagons in and around here in the past.

we look forward to seeing you improve the wagon

Welcome ... hopefully you'll find all the support and assistance you need, right here.

Now that the niceties are taken care of, the grilling begins:

Is it Zetec or SPI
5-speed or manual
what colour

Auto is just as good. Go Boost if you want power. Don't do N/A
Here are some pics of the car right after I got it.
The last driver was not too careful Sad

Markham.
I'm hoping to fix it up, and turn it into my daily driver.
Maybe add a bit of performance along the way.
Definately add some ICE upgrades - nothing over the top, but at least better than stock.
My plan for that is A Sony head unit with 3 pre-amp outs and iPod connection.
A 4ch Amp, around 60w/ch a 2ch bridged to mono around 300-500w.
4 Rockford Fosgate P1683 Door Speakers
1 10" Rockford Fosgate P1S4 Sub.
just curious, how much did you pay for it? also, mileage?

It was "free" I didn't pay any cash to the previous owner, but I have done several other jobs for her.
It has around 140,000 kms on it.

As for mechanical, there's a power steering leak, the exhaust needs to be repaired, there are unknown clunks from the left front suspension and I think one of the front wheels is warped.

The body is in ok condition, the interior needs SERIOUS cleaning ... the previous owner has dogs, and she didn't make sure she cleaned the seats or carpets.

As a DIY fix-it project, it's perfect.
