just wondering if anybody has their's and feel shifting requires some effort?
it is not bad and no complaints about the product..
i just drove wrx, mazda 3 with aftermarket sts and shifter just fell into each gears, like playing with joysticks at arcade.

disassembled and used white litium grease and made a bit better but not as smooth as compared to stock.
i got a $5 (shipped) short throw off ebay and it works flawless, haha didnt even grease it up, just swapped it out and it falls into every gear with ease.

I have had my Steeda short throw shifter for 7 years now and I have no complaints. It feels smooth and natural to me, although I forgot what the stock shifter feels like.

i also forgot how stock felts like but i am pretty sure this ford racing sts requires effort as you can hear.
i shoudnt have compared mine to mazda3 and wrx sts.

could be that is the way it is..
found this on youtube, not focus but sounds like mine.

I have 1 in my SVTF and it is great. Never thought about putting the stock 1 back in. Its been there for about 5 years.
