As some of you know I have been dreaming of an eye catching (in a good way) Focus that also has some balls to match the look.

Over the past while I have been collecting pieces and soon this spring it will all come together. But we all know there will always be room for improvement lol.

Here are a few pics of the parts. When the time comes that I acquire a new piece I will post a new pic and also when I proceed to install the pieces I will provide many pics and a good write up too!

nice stuffs/ love the rear arms
Nice little collection Big Grin.... Question... Do u already have a turbo mated to ur downpipe? Hopefully it bolts right up...
The heim joints are probably for swaybar endlinks.
Parts look good!
Love the LCA's

Why the UDP's tho?
The turbo should bolt right up along with the wastegate

Yes the fittings are for a custom adjustable sway bar endlinks

UDP is just because I bought it from Jamie a long while ago, so its gotta go on lol
i would not recommend heim joints for the sway bar links, they are not meant for daily driving use and will bind after long term use. they are meant for racing which is definitely not the same abuse.

Also, why does the turbo manifold use a T25 flange for an external wastegate? from the looks of it, it is T25 downpipe aswell. Doesnt make sense as it should be T3 realistically.

Also you will need to modify exhaust or the DP to work as we dont have 3 bolt flanges on the standard focus exhaust so you will need to make your exhaust with a 3 bolt or change DP to a 2 bolt.

I have my FSW DP which will work if you wanted to go open wastegate dump as it is 2.5" and T25 discharge, shape is exact same IIRC

I thought UDP were more for N/A applications and hurt boosted ones
It's a T3 Flange and yes it's going to be a new full exhaust system with the new 3 Bolt Flanges. On the Hot side it is a 5 Bolt with a 38mm Wastegate connection.

UDP... I never heard of that hurting a boosted car before. I'll look into it thanks Gord.

I know on supercharged cars you want an overdrive pulley

Not sure if turbo is affected the same way since there is no parasitic loss like there is with a supercharger

Yeah there won't be any parasitic loss, but the hp benefits would be totally hidden by the boost ... I mean if you want an extra 5 hp just up the boost a bit - OTH the underdrive pulley will negatively affect the performance of your water pump and alternator. Doesn't seem at all worth the cost and effort on a turbo car.
He's got the water pump O/D and the Crank UDP. So that will fix the water pump issues....next issue is the alternator, hope your not running a giant AMP at idle the alternator will struggle, if its stock electrical everything will be A-OK.

Boost is fun, expensive but fun Smile

The alternator is a custom rebuild stock with heavy duty internals. 203amps. This thing doesn't even struggle with the AC, rear defrost both seat heaters on and the stereo turned up. But the new cams I have will make it work lol Rough Idle
I've got the C-F-M UDP on my car, works perfectly fine. Doesn't really give more HP, but helps on the fuel economy side. Smile More cash equals more parts!

As you see in the last picture it shows the exhuast ports. They measure 1.436" I plan to in large them to 1.75" to port match with the new exhuast manifold ports.

I will not be in larging the valves but I will be polishing everything I can.
So today I started to take apart the EGR and Water Line Mount off the head and clean everything up to get ready for the shaving to begin lol

This is what it will generally look like with the Manifold on. A view you will never see do to the location of the engine in the car.

^^ turbo goes on TOP of that? to me it seems like its either on upside down or made upside down....

Nope, she's a top mount setup. Looks and power lol.
Here are the Rally Lights installed and I'm a huge fan of them. Some ppl aren't but it's my car so TongueTongueTongueTongueTongue. Nothing is wired up as the bumper is going for a make over soon.
