Anyone else have any friends who are interested in comming? I also have a 2002 z06 vette and a votech mustang comming
I'll try to make it out -- but likely won't dyno.

We'll have prizes to hand out for you guys at the event either way.

prizes for
- highest horsepower focus (FI/Nitrous)
- highest horsepower N/A focus
- lowest horsepower

and depending on the members going with non-focii, I'll have a prize or two to hand out to them as well.

Prizes only go to members.

maybe we should add torque and HP and do an average of the two?

How 'bout highest HP 4-cyl N/A Duratec ... sounds like a great category, uh huh!
haha... ya only cuz uve got more displacement! I challenge u, my 2.0 against your 2.3, winner takes home a 6 pack of beer.

I was thinking about the prizes thing to, if you need anything for it puppet, let me know.

More displacement AND variable valve timing ... + exhaust and X-cal2 --- you're on for the six pack (I drink Stella BTW) ...

Steve - I've got some stuff I can contribute too - couple of cans of Seafoam, couple of Duratec filters, a cabin filter ... I'll figure out a list and PM it to you.
awesome.. thanks guys!

I'm going to get a bunch of stuff and we can modify categories the day of to try and include as many people as possible.

How about a highest HP/Litre challenge?
What about a average HP Focus lol.

Highest HPtre works aswell, that way i could always have a chance for a prize and beer :)

Also, A local with a GSR civic is looking to come out now to haha my list is growing day by day... its kinda funny. fords will still out number for sure tho
Can I get in on the Infra-Red ZX4 w/ stock exhaust category? :)

let me guess who that is hahaha
you guessed it, ivan might come to now with his civic.

LOL george, i dont think we can have a category for EVERY car haha altho ill sell u a flex back exhaust with Hi-flow for 100 bucks, custom bent... not the greatest and has a fart can, but it works well compared to stock. Just put it to stock and go for lowest HP focus with something clogging the exhaust, if you had a zetec you would take that one for sure  B)
Ok i'll ask again.....

Is Steeda giving us any discounts on parts that day?

there are some items i would like to buy.... but would be more inclinded to get them out of their store and wait until that day
I dout the parts would have discounts on them

I might be bringing a focus, sentra R, G5 and some other ppl I now. List keeps getting bigger. No confirmation on my guests yet Jamie.
I've got me, a civic modded with a K20A engine, and maybe another honda as well.

Why not? it's a perfect chance for them to make sales and clear out some stock that would more than likely not be sold

All i'm saying it is worth asking Steeda for a discount, since we are bringing them so much business

They already have a discount program in place ... their "Power Gains Reward Card" which not only provides discounts on purchases (varies from product to product) but also some sort of loyalty points towards future purchases ...

When I bought a wackload of Steeda stuff for the Fusion, I put together my list and asked Pat for a quotation ... in every case it was less expensive than if I had purchased it from Steeda US and sent to my N. Falls address - - - IIRC the discounts were all around 10-12%
see the problem is, they have dont have old stock or anything, they order it from the states and then its gets sent to them, converted to CAD and done, you pay now. So they only have a couple small parts because Steeda.ca isnt a huge supplier retail walkin so they only have like a focus 28.6 mm sway bar on the wall and like a couple xcal2/3 on the wall. I have put the question into pat earlier today and can only say what i hear.

if you get the power gains card, it will give you a discount plus power gain points which are worth 1 dollar each. he mite give the focus guys 5% off or something along those line, but i will talk when i know :)

Also, as soon as you guys have confirmation about friends, post it up and i will let them know. just dont bring so many that we cant do some xcal fussing haha doesnt make much dif to me, im going to the track to test and tune and figure it out from there.

Heh, we don't need a category for every one ... just mine. :D

And thanks, but I'll pass on the exhaust. I'm really picky about exhaust sound, I hate loud and droning exhausts. I'll most likely end up with an MBRP although it's even a bit noisier then I'd like.

I agree with you ,GFXjamie, we should focus on Fords on that dyno day , and the rest of the makes later , if there will be too many , the Steeda guys we'll do us in a hurry and won't be willing to do any fiddeling for us .BTW , how much would be for that ? I mean on top of the three pulls ? What I want is some air/fuel ratio optimization , I don't know what else could be done...
