This is the first encouraging thing I've read in here (other than confirmation the turbos are covered by warranty) - hopefully you're on the short path to getting things resolved now.
I understand why you wouldn't want to have the repair done under your warranty, but really the only downside is the deductible and I agree, Kanata should cover that for you.
But if they won't, just think of it this way ... if when you bought the truck they had said to you "give us a hundred bucks and we'll throw two brand new turbos in for ya" you would have jumped at the deal.
Anyway - good luck the rest of the way.
Sorry to hear about your story. I'll be following it.
On a side note, last Saturday an F150 single-cab truck left one of my managers on the side of the busy highway. He said check engine light came on and then the truck shut off by itself. He barely was able to move to the shoulder. Couldn't open the driver's door cause that's how tight that construction highway was. Then 5min later truck started, he drove off and then when he left Toronto and hour later it died again. He said it was worst experience and the truck is still in the shop.

good assumption haha. yea i am the diesel tech here good call on buying a 6.4L with a bit of tweeking they can be lots of fun
Well your first problem was buying a ford truck....
i heard back from embrum ford yesterday and they took care of everything it ended up not needing a turbo it was just a leak in the manifold.
Work done was
turbo leak fixed
EGR cooler leak fixed
4x4 hubs and seals replaced
Front caliper replaced
maybe xXCMGXx could elaborate more on this as i haven’t picked the truck up yet but all in all im 100% satisfied with embrum fords serves so far and if anything this just proves Kanata fords incompetence in improperly diagnosing the problem.

After everything is set and one you should forward all those finished issues to Katana service manager.

As soon as the warranty is up I wana delete the regen s**t and chip it. My brother has a duramax with EFI live that he tuned its vary impressive even with the 6in lift and 35s.

i can help with that. i just finished tuning my buddies 6.4. Runs a 5 inch exhaust, afe intake and a tune. Ran 12.9 in the 1/4 this past summer at Luskville.
Truck that runs faster than my car..........tears on my face....
My ford is 350hp 650ft/lb stock. Tuned with bolt on's 6.4 fords can see 650hp 1000ft/lb.

Actually, I would just return the truck to them and walk away. I think the consumer protection act allows for a certain amount of time.
having gone through similar messes with my old dealership, it's your best recourse IMO.
