This is a bit of a generic question.On the passenger side, the driveshaft ends up as a solid shaft as it enters the standard transmission. It is leaking here (nothing major). Would this be a seal that could be replaced in situ, any ideas as to what could cause this leak?

There should just be a seal there, its not a cheap seal but its not overly priced either. IIRC $50 something. They are just rubber seals, not bearings + seals so they wear out easily.

A worn out CV could possibly cause excess vibration/play and wear it out faster...
