If I remember correctly I paid around $300-$400 for my svt one, be sure to get an svt one if you have an svt. I'm sure any shop will do it , it's a real pain in the ass to do. Hardest thing was putting the new one back in and getting the plastic shielding back on the hole where the steering column goes .

For the shop question remind us where you're located ... as for the rack, I've bought two of these in the past and had good experience with them.
Cardone reman at Advanced Auto

Only place I could locate the svt one was a place called AA auto parts . Depending if you have an svt or not call around or the link that Ken gave you above ^. If you have an svt it will be tough to find one locally . But you can use a regular focus steering rack if need be . I think maybe you might be misunderstanding , as you get a new one that has been rebuilt and you give your old one in and get money back for it once you take it out .
