It's a Ford Mazda 6 from that styling. I'm still not sure whether that's a good idea or not.

black out that chrome grill and I'd buy it with a 3.5 V6

I think the Fusion looks more upscale that the Mazda 6, It dosn't have the RX8 Fenders (looked good on the RX8 but on the 6 looks dumb)
Is that the same matterial as the 05-07 Focus on the dash??

One thing I don't get...

Mazda gets the all new 6, Ford gives the Fusion a facelift (a la 2008 Focus). Why not move to the new platform?

Must be a cost thing... People are willing to pay for a Mazda, but not for a bailout-pleading Ford...

The powertrains sound ok though. More manual shift please!

Based on looks alone I would buy the Fusion over the Mazda 6, great handling car now with more power, It will sell. Then agaain I bought a 08 Focus so my judgement may be worthless.

As a Fusion owner I'm liking the updates to the interior (finally killed the retro '70's green instrument panel) but that nose in the front is way too much chrome "lookit me" type thing.

If I bought a 2010, I'd buy a Sport AWD, paint the chrome nose body colour out front and call it a day...

I like the green or red cluster, but not blue. It will hurt your eyes at night. I'm feeling the pain in the Jetta right now.

We keep getting shafted because either Ford and Mazda's tech-sharing deal isn't as good as we all think it is, or Ford of Canada STILL thinks we're all dumb enough to keep getting "new" vehicles while Europe gets the new vehicles.
