Okay,I am prepared for 10 more months of abuse from everyone else.....
GO LEAFS GO !!!!!!!
Man, watching the Leafs this year is gonna be like riding a roller coaster... you can only hope you don't lose your lunch during the ride

Why the f@ck was Ryan Hollweg not immediately cut after that last incident? And who's idea was it to sign him? Fletcher?
And as much as everyone liked to cut up Razor (OK that was bad!) it looks like Vesa needed him to push him. Sorry but Cujo's best days are behind him and he's not gonna challenge for the starting job.
Mats, come home!!!!

Yes, but not like previous years, we expect to have a roller coaster of a ride. However, I'm sure it's going to be mostly down in the valley.
God bless you leafs fans!

But for those of us that know hockey,

Go Habs Go
how do you guys like so far John Mitchell in MPL?
he's a buddy of mine, went to school together..partys,bars ect.

Can he get tickets?
I was tentatively hopeful till they lost 6-1 to the Habs.

Upside: CuJo in a Leafs jersey again. The one Leaf I love to hate.

Downside: CuJo in a Leafs jersey, which must be be f***ing with Vesa's sanity... causing him to wonder why he's still suiting up (either of them, that is).

I'll attempt to follow, but I fear it'll be more of the same as last year - more worried about whether I can get to my own Sunday night pickup "league" than about watching the Leafs.

Fletcher's beginning to show signs of Alzheimer's if he's the guy who picked up Hollweg.
Cujo, another sign of Alzheimer's, living in the past.
Mats, retire.

good point.....i guess i'll have to ask him for 1 B)
considering this is the leafs official FIRST rebuilding year....they are not that bad! They played well against the wings, took a day off against the habs, scored plenty against the blues, but our D is weak.

We've got a lot of high flying offensively skilled players like hagman, tlusty, grabovski (probably the best line). Kulemin looks like a scorer, dominic moore has got wheels and our D is young and shaping up (Schenn, Stralman, Kronwall, Coliacovvo)..... hopefully we can get a good picks for Tavares or Hedman.
leaf fans, give up already.

Jesus.

Somewhat like those who like the Focus?
Gawd I love Habs fans.
Can't shut em' up when their winning....no where to be found when their losing.

The only explanation I can think of to explain why Hollweg wasn't cut after trying to cripple someone else with his neanderthal tactics is because the Leafs "brain trust" seems to think that he is their only source of grit...

I'd rather take up a collection and buy the Leafs a block of sandpaper, there's yer "grit" and it doesn't cost us 5 minute major penalties :D

As to Cujo, I think he's a placeholder until Pogge is ready and I think that's what's messing with Toskala's head

Mats isn't coming back, I watched him during the European opening weekend.... that isn't a man itching to play NHL hockey (Toronto or anywhere else)

Now, is that anything new?
For the past few years, it's always been a point of interest to see if they'll win the game or how will they blow the game.

I'll give you one think Flo.
At least you have a team to cheer for.
This Leaf team I'm stuck with is like a season long root canal.

Ah, but with a root canal comes the anesthetic :D (I wonder if The Beer Store will notice an uptick of sales in the Leafs region ;))
