I can not believe my eyes!
Here is what I've got by just parking my car and paying for the parking ticket:
"PARK VEHICLE FOR SALE"
15 bucks - what a hell? For having my phone number in the window just in case if someone decides to call and ask to buy the car?
You got a ticket for having a for sale sign in your window? I would fight that one.
Nope its actually a legit ticket advertising for sale of vehicle without some permit thing basically its to avoid people driving there cars to a big mall taking the 1st parking spot just so the 4 sale sign can be seen its a rare ticket cop must not of made his quota or maybe hes just an ass but pay it don't waste ur time and money fighting it
Actually its just a small screw it type ticket. Cop probably won't show. Take a chance and show up if hes there then they will either make you pay it then or lower the fine. Also you can make your case then too.
Im just saying 1st taking a day off work to make an appoinment + $$$ parking at court then showing up 2 ur court date another day off plus parking costs You might aswell pay the ticket which would almost be the same price of parking at court for two days not to mention the money your going to lose not working is it really worth all that work for a $15 I didn't think so.
Well if its 15 bucks it not bad. I was thinking of the Court house in Brampton thats free parking. Also your insurance see's it but does not affect it though if it does contect the Insurance controll board for procedures to have them shut down lol.
I'm pretty sure for us in Québec it's illegal to drive with a "FOR SALE" sign.
So, I would bit the bullet and pay the 15$, even though it sux.
what a bs tocket.....pure gay
Most municipalities do have this kind of ban on the books. It's for a few reasons, including trying to eliminate "curbsiders" among other reasons.
NefCanuck
/\ Very well said another thing its not a moving violation so it won't affect anything its just like a parking ticket actually cheaper

Actually if it was Québec, you'd have 2 tickets, one for the for sale sign, and another for not having a french version of the same sign on display next to or above the english for sale sign.
Thanks for the feedback.
I do still think that this is stupid... I have sold a few cars like that and never heard about this before... Most likely if I read complete rules collection I wouldn't be able to do anything (especially drive - moving violation, park - paking violation, stop - stopping violation, spin wheeles - street racing, looking at the next car - street racing attempt, looking at the fish in a pond - attemting to catch the fish with your eyes - fishing with no license etc...)
PS
Is it a viloation to drive with it or to park with it?
If it is posted outside the car how would they prove that it is aculaay mine :)

public parking at green macine :(
Spoke with a parking officer.
he said that the ad in a window can not have "FOR SALE" in it.
So I've removed these words....
Let's see what are other words that are restricted to have in your own car in Toronto....
anyways what car are u selling?
