so im buying some wheel spacers for just the rear and i have some questions?

has any one ever seen a focus with the 60mm h&r wheel spacers?

also where can i get them. thats not focus sport (emailed them they never got back to me so id like to buy from some where in canada lol)

also they state on there web side not for stock cars.

and is there any other brand out there.

thanks guys
Those are huge spacers. Deff not for Stock Cars. You would need really long studs for those to work.
thats 30mm each side. and the h&r comes with longer studs.

i want like an 1in or more spacer
Cheapest i have seen is off eBay

BUT in your other post you stated you want to lower your car.... pick one

If you do both spend the money and get coilovers
thats a long way out to have a wheel hanging... just get some like 17x8 wheels with a dirty offset. also mite want to see how much clearance you really have or you will be tearing apart fenders like nobodys business

i want to keep my factory rims. the only rim id put on would be EAPs if i ever changed.

i know that is a huge spacer. but my buddy has 1.5in on his 1.8t jetta with a minimal drop and it looks killer. you can clearly see the back tires when he is coming down the road towards you.

im not comparing a focus and a jetta im just saying thats the look im going for.

im gona have to do some investigation and see what will fit.

the last thing i wana do is have the tire hit the fender and crinkle it. but sum rubbing is ok and i can always get the fenders rolled sum
i hear ya on having the flush look to the car, just dont over to it thats all.

i would do something like a 20-30 mm spacer, that would give you some nice flush/poke where as going with more would just be over done. if your lowering the car a bit also, you mite want to not correct the camber or even make more camber to tuck the wheel in when you bounce. also get some really stiff springs and adjustable shocks. the KW springs i have for sale are the stiffest you will find without going coil over. get some KYB AGX or koni yellows to go with them aswell to keep it super stiff.

i could of got a set of KWs off another member. but i read some review and they all stated they road way to rough. how did they ride in your car?

i mean i could get them and use them on my svt struts. i beleve they would only lower my car .5 to 1in am i correct on that?

and i was max gonna get 30mm spacer.
I have 17x9 in the rear on my SVT with the rubber stretched, eibach coilovers and no rubbing....17x8 is perfect for the focus.

they are rough because they are stiff. personally i liked em, gave a really nice feel for the road. softer then coilovers forsure and would be a nice match on svt struts too.

maby i will consider KWs. but if i have another crazy rough car lets just say i wont have a girl frend.
my gf has stuck with me throught soft, hard and everywhere in between! LMAO

yes that sounds dirty, but you need to find a better girl friend if thats the case!
weell next time your going for a drive and you hit a bump, completely bottom out and your coffee comes out of the cup holder and goes every where.

u see how happy your girl friend will be. lol

thats how bad my zx3 was.

like i got donkey kicked out of the seat on a weekly basis

ps: im soo glad that cars gone.
kws wont bottom out on you because of how stiff they are, get coffees with good lids lol
ya you can thank Timmys crazy low quality control standers.

how often do you get a coffee and the little lid wont stay open.
biggest PITA ever, they never stay for me!!

so anyways, what spacers are you getting? fswerks??

u shud buy my springs as part of a trade for your tranny :)
i forgot all a bought that. Sher that would work for me.

I thought you're like a die-hard really dude or something.

You're choosing major show over functionality. Not sure how wheel bearings are going to like this.
Never liked spacers so I always stayed away from them. In a long run they ain't good. Get wider rims like Jamie said. Just do it right first time. ;)

Don't even get me started on VW bandwagon trend
