My engine light came on today and gord helped me scan it. code is p401-insufficient egr flow. we cleared the code and about another hour of driving it came back on. any suggesstions?

Check your O2 Sensors, if not that then you might wanna check you Cat.

the hose that goes to the egr valve was cracked right at the end so i cut a bit off the end and then plugged it back in. and now the light has stayed off.

I was gonna say DPFE, but glad to see you fixed it! :D

Thats good, simple stuff like wire cracks and little bits of currosion can make a day turn to hell.
