i dont think an intake would make a significant impact on the exhaust tone since it doesnt have much do with it in the first place. maybe more air would cause a louder tone? im not sure, you'd get better results with a header or different cats/mufflers/resonators.

what he said, in my experience the intake will not change the exaust note.

hahaha funny you should say that, last night i was looking at the turbo kits for my car... 4000$ ish for the FocusSport one.. but i'm gonna try N/A first.. too much $$ lol,

N/A can get rediculously expensive as well. and too see similar gains its probably even more money i mean just look at this...
steeda intake - 300 tax in
mbrp exhaust - 350 tax in
cams - 500 + install unless u do it urself
header - 400
tune - 350
lots o monies! and gains may only be like 30hp to the wheels.
Depends on your power goals, but if you want anything 200whp+, FI will cost you less to get there when compared going the NA route.
