That would be 85, they stopped making them in 86.5
So just swap that one in place of the existing one right?
Also, did you do anything with the valve cover breather?
Thanks Flo, thats good info!

My valve cover breather goes to an oil catch can.
I just found a one way valve and put it inline with my current pcv. I think its much better, no boost loss possible say if the pcv isn't seating 100%, etc.

Something similar to what I have:

Cool guys, thanks for the input.
Does anyone know where I could bring the charge piping to get beads rolled??
beads rolled?

think he means getting the end of the charge piping beaded so it seals better witht he couplers...
Thats exactly what I mean Flofocus.
However, if you guys run your charge piping without beads and you don't have any issues with boost leak, then maybe I don't need the beading done...
Double post...
My charge piping has blown off a couple of times since I've been boosted. I always tighten everything down on oil changes...

I've been meaning to get the ends beaded for a while.
just weld a line on each side of the pipe and that should do the job but its got to be in the perfect spot mine blew off all the time even on the dyno smacking a MAF around and breaking it in two, P R Perfromance.ca made some mods to the piping and no problems since then
vibrant also sells a peice to weld onto your charge piping. Its a great little invention actually! Its called the boost brace

If I dont sell, these will be going on next year.
That won't work on the pipe going to the throttle body, which it the one that ive had the most problems with but yaa for IC piping that would work Call Rick at 416 895 2156 tell him you got his number from Andrew Focus he will get u a wicked price on anything from Vibrant
My IC piping wa sthe one to pop on me, no issues with the TB pipe...
heh interesting, seems it depends on the weather for where it might pop :D

Is a catch can a must??
Hardk0res got one for sale and I'll pick it up if its a must.

Some will say no, some will say yes.

I'm gonna go with yes.
Ok, maybe I should've worded it differently, do I need it the day I do the install? Times running thin and I just want to try and have as many of my bases covered before the weekend.
If however I can do without it for a short time until I can get the catch can then thats great, cause I don't know when I'd be able to get out to oshawa to pick it up.
I ran without one for a year but had some build up of oil on my mass air flow. Not good!
Ah ok, yea, I was thinking I'd get it within a week or two after this weekend.
There's just quite a few things I have to get done this weekend alone, and if I could put something off till the following weekend then thats the plan.
Contracting sucks...otherwise, I'd take a week off and take my time...alas, that would cost me WAY too much to even consider.
Oil catch can is $20 from home depot, I can post a pic if you want. Its not as ghetto as it sounds :)

Not trying to deter you to buy mine of course :) Just the one I have in now its nice and small.
