If we're taking count -- there have now been 3 or 4 serious dump truck crashes in the GTA over the past couple weeks...

which, to my recollection is a tad worse than the toll of street racing.

2 people dead when dumptruck tailgate hits them

I know a couple truck drivers, and they're very responsible drivers (and great people to boot) but lately, including my own close call -- some GTA dumptruck drivers need to be pulled from the streets.

Maybe they should do what they do to street racers -- it they get caught running lights or speeding, confiscate their trucks. Maybe after a few owners lose their $150,000 trucks and their livelihood they'll get their drivers to slow down.

Good Idea, some of those drivers go way to fast.

Yah its bad out there. I was on the 401 the other day and I noticed a dump trucks brakes were way out off adjustment and his left axle was all over the road. And by law they have to check the trucks everyday..pfft.
