Does it sound anything like this Duratec ? :D http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K8nptFx1jug
It's nice that you have the intake in front of the engine , not behind it like me

Dam, no that sounds like a cha-wow-wow is barking lol.

Maybe if things work out mine will have a lil Pst this year. If things do, F2 will have to make they're SC cheaper lol.

Come to the meet to hereor wait untill Tuesday to here the Vid
Do you get some type of growl from the intake ? I know the air filter whistles a bit , mine does when it's cold . Anyway , that thing looks awesome there :banger:
And before closing up shop tonight , Ford wins again :D http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FNhBhclEA...re=related
looks good john, whats the hp compared to the dyno day was it like 128 or something?

and as for sounding like that WRC car, hes gonna need an anti-lag system for the turbo he don't have lol.

129HP - 165TQ
But thats way the fawk off when I put it on Dasilva's machine. They said that the settings must have been off at Steeda.

I don't know but we will find out when we all go, Cause there is no way I made 165TQ before and lost about 50 of it when placing the IM on lol.
did dasilva do a second or 3rd gear pull? maybe that had something to do with it.

Third Gear, Ran it from 90KM to 160KM
ya those AFR numbers are a tad lean, i usually have it running 12.9-13.0 at WOT thru all gears. when i dyno'd last year my best run was when i brought it down to about 13.1 from 13.5.

you have no torque!!!!

so can i call you a honda civic now??

LOL, No Honda sounds like this thing lol. And wait untill you get on the Dyno, Cause your car is the one I'm comparing too the most. Unless Mike gets the Header on in time.
we will see soon enough johnny boy.

i am expecting about 150whp with cams valve springs udp and full tune. i think im going to go fswerks for tune aswell... something about the fact that dasilva wasnt pulling the timing and didnt know exactly what to do makes me edgy on getting a borderline insane tune...

with that said, randy will be doing the tunning, i just gotta figure out how to hook wideband up into my Xcal2

I was on there for 2.5hrs and they only charged me for 1.5. $339 it worked out to be. And they know for next time with the timing.
im talking with randy through pm's on focaljet. personally i trust him more then pat @ steeda and im a little skeptical about da silva with those AFR's and the timing thing. im sure randy can pull more ponies as well.

as for sounding like a honda, well ya they mostly have a 1.5, 1.6 or 1.8L so no kidding ur not going to sound like em, but sure put down same number

to much show, not enough go!!

I've learned that go gets me into trouble plus I like just cruise'n around. Power is in the future though.
Out of all seriousness though, you really should have your AFR fixed.. It's better to be rich than lean in my opinion. You could make more power if it was in the ideal range as well.

Don't rule my car out at Dyno day either.. Mine should be close to what you got (with more torque of course.. haha :P) Then we will all be put to shame with the guys running FI.. lol

Get a circuit tester and you'll figure it out easy.

Actually, I find that show gets you more attention and gets you into more trouble... Sleeper FTW!
Yeah, I like sleepers too. That's what's nice about turbo.. The exhaust isn't loud.

Pat told me that the torque numbers on dyno day were not accurate because for the dyno day they did a quick setup to get the large quantity of cars processed. Typically for NA focus, the torque figure is slightly lower than the HP number.

is there a tether cable i have to wire it into that plugs into xcal?? im not sure LOL im sure its easy, im a wiz with electronics as i took it 3 yrs in highschool and 1 year in college for electrical engineering...

FS has a cable of sorts do they not???

also yes the tq numbers were way off on dyno day. i suspect my tq numbers were likely in the 130's instead of 164.5. im looking for 150 whp and 135-140 wtq
