i am expecting about 150whp with cams valve springs udp and full tune. i think im going to go fswerks for tune aswell... something about the fact that dasilva wasnt pulling the timing and didnt know exactly what to do makes me edgy on getting a borderline insane tune...

with that said, randy will be doing the tunning, i just gotta figure out how to hook wideband up into my Xcal2

Get a circuit tester and you'll figure it out easy.

is there a tether cable i have to wire it into that plugs into xcal?? im not sure LOL im sure its easy, im a wiz with electronics as i took it 3 yrs in highschool and 1 year in college for electrical engineering...

FS has a cable of sorts do they not???

also yes the tq numbers were way off on dyno day. i suspect my tq numbers were likely in the 130's instead of 164.5. im looking for 150 whp and 135-140 wtq

Call up Dasilva for the cables. I seen them using them.
Isn't basically a modified firewire cable?
I know it's firewire for the X3.
ya something like that, plugs into the top of it. the firewire your thinking is actually for datalogging to a computer and it is a printer cable

Yes. You'll need a datalogging cable (mini din 9). They sell it but you may be able to buy one at a specialty electronics shop.

What you'll need to do is cut the cable at the one end, strip the wires back, and find out which terminals ends lead to each wire. Basically, one test lead on one wire, while the other checking the plug connections to find out which plug is which.

i wonder if fswerks or somebody has a pin out of which wire goes to which.

The wire colours change, they were different with mine and other people's.
