well after having the stock front passanger spring break on me for a second time, i decided to up grade to something better.

brand spankin new eibach sportlines, after this im going to make a rear and front stress bar and call it quites for suspension. then i have to locate the front rear and side bumpers from a Svt focus. im going back to stock somewhat.

ill post some before and after picks on saturday when i install them.

i came into this expecting another, im selling my car thread....

sportlines are sweet though B)
Nice Kamil, should check out some shocks/struts for it too. If you dont change them out when you do the springs, you'll blow the stockers out pretty quick and just end up with more work for yourself. Let me know if you want a hand with it too.
That's the kit I have in my car. And I love it.

I thought the same thing too!

Those will drop the car quite nicely...
nice....what else is new wit your focus....engine wize?
Replacement of the stock shocks isint really recommended , its required since the shocks that come from the factory are position sensitive , outside of their designated ride height , they work like crap and blow out very quickly ( 5000 km ive seen em go )

Sportlines are nice springs, i had them but i went with the apex after... I dont like progressive spings and i found the sportlines to be a bit soft for my liking ....

Enjoy man :)
do you just want the lowered look? does tein make s-tech springs for the focus? that should be perfect.. awesome 'lowered look'

out of curiosity.. how did you break the OE spring? rust?

as mike said.. you need to change dampers with the sportlines.. and if you are going to go with the cost of springs + dampers, you might as well get a matched set or get a hardcore linear spring

a good choice if you don't want to buy new dampers are H&R OE sport springs. the lowering is slight (1/2" appx) and the rates are within the spec of the OE damper
yes tein makes stechs i have them on my car its a 2 inch drop
i have the sportline kit on my car and love it
i also used stock dampers with those springs for about 5000 kms till i got the eibach dampers

i heard they are perfect for people who are strictly looking for the lowered look

ie they say 'style master' on the box

the OP should consider these springs.. they look mad tite
So will the car be running this summer maybe on Aug possibly the weekendof Aug 16 and 17 I want to see your car at the track.
yea ill be there, but not with my new engine. just 15psi on a base tune for now. im looking into getting megasquirt soon.

i think i might be the first to put it in a focus, ive looked everywhere and couldnt find someone that has put megasqurt in a focus.

ive done alot of reaserch and alot of it should be easy. just have to locate a ford edis for a 4 cylinder motor now.
Did u hear that everyone Kamilk and ZX3_2NV will finally race don't woory i'll keep the switch on low boost for ya

omfg. tein s techs would be perfect for the OP then.
the spring rust through, the the second time this has happened. and im sick and tired of changing them so i got something better.

and update i f***ing hate the focus rear suspension.

metal sleeves in the bushings siezed to the bots and i had to cut them out. now im looking for a set of bushing for the rear.

anyone know where i can get some bushings for cheap. i need some good stock bushings. canadian tire had nothing.
best bet is the prothane kit man. itll replace all that s*** back there.
