Full Version: 2.5" Race Header, And Flex Pipe

For sale is a Kamakaze 4 into 1 RACE header. It has a 2.5 inch collector, and I am selling it with a 2.5" flex pipe....I cant remember who makes the 2.5" flex. I purchased this stuff around 2003 or 2004, it was on my car for a year or so, and then it sat around in my garage(so they have some surface rust on them, dont expect them to look brand new). The header has a homemade EGR block off, that can be removed if desired. This is for race applications, it eliminates the catalytic convertor.

Is this a long-tube header? If so are you interested in selling the flex seperately? As in, anyone want just the header?
yea, its a long tube header.

I dont want to sell it separately, if someone wants the other part, you can resell it to them.
im looking for a header but i want to keep the cat
well...theoretically, you could cut the header and add one...but you would not be able to use the stock cat.
theoreticaly it would be easier to weld the high flow cat into the flex pipe.......thats what i did
yea, but that far back, I would wonder if it would get hot enough to do its job properly...
ok....when i welded that thing in...right away i went on the highway for 5 mins...and went into the shop = fail

when i went for second try.....took it for a nice run for about 20min.....she passed with flying colors......so yeah

The Svt swap doesnt exist all that much anymore.....

I am done with racing/modifying. Now I am just after gas milage!
I have removed my head and most of my mods. Now my motor is an svt bottom end, and a slightly ported regular zetec head, 2000 intake manifold, stock intake box(with holes drilled), stock header/cat/flex, magnaflow exhaust. 500-600kms per tank!!!!!
did it have svt head before?
yes, it had a heavily ported svt head, slighty shaved down, port matched to the ford racing intake manifold, and 70mm ford racing mustang throttle body.

all that work for nothing now :(
You selling the svt head? will it fit the zetec block? pm me
If you still have the flex available (i assume its in stock location, not custom to match header) I am interested.. anyway i know you don't want to sell separately but in case it happens, I would get it from you..
