Read today that a 85 year old on the 407 was arrested and charged by the OPP for going 161 km/hr. Is he related to anyone?

I wonder if it was my grandfather. Once he puts his foot on the floor he is to weak to lift it up again. The province should give themselves a ticket for renewing his license at 85.

Depends on the Engine / Tranny and model of Focus, if you have Auto Yes that is the limit, the 5 speed can go about 185km/h when the limiter kicks in and I know it's a little higher in the SVT's

Ah, when I read my owners manual it never made the distinction so I assumed it was the same for all Focus (Or at least anything +05 like mine, course I'm flashed now so I have no idea where the top end is)

trust me I got my Focus up to 185km/h before the limiter kicked in, just to see how fast it would go, way back when I first got it in 2003. same went for the black focus I had with the auto, it only went to 174ish... before the limiter kicked in.. since then the fastes my focus goes is 135 on the highway.

Is it a bad thing that after a reflash and the bolt ons I got I hit 220km/h? At least thats what the needle said I dunno if I was actually going any faster :P

I've gone... "quick" since the mods were done. Quick enough that had I been caught, I would have taken up walking as a sport.
