I have a 2003 Focus SE, Zetec w/5spd... it has 190,000km and has served me well since day 1.

Everything is still OE except regular maintenance and a drop in K&N filter.

Maintenance:
- Timing Belt @ 160,000km
- Front Brakes (raybestos rotors w/ceramic pads)
- Pass Side rear bearing
- Driver Side front end-link (moog)
- Ignition cylinder

I've had the car oil sprayed yearly except this winter... Also, everytime I'm under the car, I spray every nut/bolt/etc with lube/rust proofing.

Goals:

I want the car to handle better, feel firm while retaining a comfortable ride.
- I'd include new mounts, bushings, etc...
- Short Shifter and maybe chassis reinforcement (if it's logical, i'd rather have top strut plates then a strut bar...)
- I'd put my OE seats as an area that needs improvement... they suck!

Some extra horsepower would be nice as well, I'd like more getup and go... I'm not intersted in gaining a few HP at the expense of a loud exhaust...

I was gonna say Jackson racing S/C but you have to do compression test seeing how you have 190k on the clock.

Race header (Focus sport, OBX), with heat wrap and siliconed
bigger flex pipe 2.25" (Trubanz)
2.25" catback (MBRP ; Magnaflow)
early 2000 intake manifold
Volant intake
65mm TB (for better feel)
bigger sway bars front and rear (22mm)
lowering springs 2" drop (Eibach, KW)
KYB AGX sturst will do just fine for you
SS brake lines
ATE SuperBlue brake fluid (if you like hitting the lapping events)
Hawk HP brake pads
B&M short shifter or any other is fine
Maybe work your camber too....put it a little bit negative if you like hitting those corners with full throttle

But I still recommend to get S/C at least.

This is much further then I want to go, no S/C or Turbo, etc.

Few things that caught my interest.

1.) Volante Intake (I hear it's the one to get)
2.) early 2000 intake - i want to know why
3.) Bigger flex pipe & 2.25" Catback - standard upgrade for most cars

I won't get an agressive exhaust, something quiet, I wonder what kind of HP i can put down to the wheels with these mods.
115whp maybe
