When you do an ontrack event sometimes $%@#$% happens. Tires wear, suspension components wear. If your not on the ball with your maintenance and checking everything before you hit the track thats how your going to end up.
Still feel bad for the guy.

good luck getting insurance to pay. How do you fake that.

No - they are excellent handling - especially the SVT. Looks to me like driver error - he rolled because he put one side up on the tires. Once he left the tarmac it was game over.

You see... a helmet is a good thing to have!
He seemed to be pushing his car a little too hard for what he could handle.
Another SVT bites the dust.

would a $50 helmet be ok for this type of a crash? :D

looks like he went into the turn way too hot and went off track, caught an edge and flipped.. he probably also tried to get back on track instead of just keeping the wheel straight and braking after we went off track
i think this was all driver error and had nothing to do with component failure or vehicle preparation

When you hear the tires protesting like that on the video you know he was overdriving the car (What the hell was that dingbat listening to that he couldn't hear that? NVM feel it :P)

That is hard to watch... ouch. He forgot to accelerate out of the apex. I know those cars are fun to drive and all, but damn... he needs a little more track practice. (or better yet if he could respond to the car's performance accordingly.)
