swap?

but i just want a hatch with that engine
not worth importing it..

i imported because i bought my focus in califronia and owned at least 5 years and done lots of stuff to it, so i take a hard way to bring it to canada..

thanks god that i didn't have to pay for custom/duty$$$ because i am a returning resident..

if you really want, get used focus hatch and do swap..
what kind of stuff do you have pay when importing a car like that?
It's cake... super-easy to do. It's the same crash standards, and that's all that matters. The ZX3 from those years was obviously available here in Canada with no modifications (save for DRLs) to the CDN-spec models, so find one and drive it over. Done deal.

The powertrain doesn't matter.
http://www.riv.ca says it all...

Simply put..

Buy car.
Put trip permit on.
Drive to border.
Pay GST and RIV fee.
Drive home.
Get certified at Canadian Tire to meet Ontario specs.
License and pay PST.
Drive and have fun with a faster Focus. :)
