I am doing the battery relocation and ordering stuff now..
This is so far I did and I will keep this updated and post pics..

day 1.

I had optima battery tray laying around, rusted so bad and sanded off..

grabbed some paint

I just want to know why are you relocating?
Too much weight in the front or is it getting in the way for future mods?
many people relocate to trunk but saving weight over the front wheels dont really do much , it does make it easier to wire amps tho
i need more space under engine bay area..
i have aftermarket horn that was soaked up in water and got another set and i want it to be higher up where battery is..

and also my intake, i am trying to run hose to the front directly but space isn't allowing..
if u look at this pic, only way to run hose is to go to svt snorkel..but under vibration, hose tears..

as "zx5power" mentioned..i am not looking to see any improvement..just for look and easier for me to modify my car..

oh and also to get rid of Mcdonald scheme..it makes me hungry..
and nevermind those messy wires, this pic is an year old

hahaha

now im hungry

you should jet coat your svt header too.....it would look puuuuurty
true true, i might do jet coat or put stock heatshield on..
when jet coat first came out, i quoted for price and they wanted $275 or something..
wiring plan..
i will be using 150 amp fuse on 2ga wire.

this is one of the sexiest engine bays ive ever seen in the focus...
tray is painted now and need to grab bolts and nuts

thats actually not too bad
i would relocate it in the front left bumper man. theres a TON of room in there. i wish i would have done that in retrospect.
yeah i saw what you mean, but i kinda like show-off person..
you know..fancy looking battery terminals..can't resist..lol
most stuff i wanted were not avaialble to be shipped to canada..wonder why..

these are the things i m going to order..
- rockford fosgate 2 ga amp kit
- monster battery terminal
- sticnger t style distribution block
- junction stud block
with the kill switch do you only not want to start the car or do you want to be able to shut the car off aswell cause im running a kill switch for the track and you need to run the alternator wire to the kill swith as well as the power cable
i can build relay to disable fuel or starter, so only reason putting kill switch is that i disconnect battery often..

so i think adding kill switch on negative wire is enough..

and for the positive wire, i m adding 150 amp fuse.

i guess this way is safe enough..
most of stuff came in except battery terminal..

but i decided to go ahead drill holes and mount tray..
and here is pic..

had my battery there because of the supercharger... I wouldn't recommend it as it makes it difficult to service, and it's not a very protected area.
