Guy from FF did this and I was just wondering what you guys think this is his pictures ...
Few questions ...
1) I found one in junkyard $50 seem reasonable ?
2) Will my power steering reservoir cause a problem ? being up front
3) what would be the best way to shave the letting and badge ... ( im gonna put ford badge)
guess im gonna be the only canadian with one lol 27 views no replies
that guy lives in a trailer he's got nothing else to do
Sorry man, but even with the snakesnest of wiring we have happening under there, I find that actually looks WORSE than stock. I won't even start about "just remove it to properly detail the engine".
A great idea, wrapped up in failure.
I find it looks good just not properly done ... I want to hide those damn wires ...
I don't think it would be that hard to remove the Mazda Badge you'd have to sand it all smooth, but putting a Ford one would only work if you took a large Ford Oval (ie. from an F-150 tailgate) and it had the little pegs in the back of it like the badges of old, and double sided tape to put it on there, how ever the heat under the hood might kill the badge in the long run...
other then what I can see he clearly has a 2005+ Focus as the dash is not the 2000 style, if anything ask the guy that did it.
yeah 05 still had reservoir in back , 06 has it up front.
my wires look just fine.
that looks ghetto.
Capital G!

x2.
Looks like putting a square peg in a round hole. Plus the car's paint job looks ghetto (and that's coming from a guy with a Gold car!)
My guess is that this is a U.S. PZEV Duratec in an '04 - headlights kind of give it away for me.
For the record, 1.6, 1.8, 2.0 and 2.3 Duratecs in most places around the world do in fact have an engine cover similar to the Mazda one shown in the first post, and there are a couple of different styles too. Mexico is the closest market to us that equips their Focus this way.

that car is an 05+ with a front end conversion
if u guys don't know yet, this car has been around ff.com for a good while now.....he did a front conversion from '00-'04 to 05+
he basicly butchered that car from ground up....tv's,corvette style good, paint job....everything is like home made on that car....
yep its all rebuilt ... I think it will look good when im done ... your also seeing it on a car with no battery cover and a crappy homemade filter
I dont know why anybody would want their hood to open that way. Thats how the BMW's hood opens and I find it a pITA to work on the car.
