Where/when: Sunday Aug 5th, 8am sharp. you need a helmet, but can rent em for $5 at the event. Located in the Ottawa senators Scotiabank parking lot.

I'll be there this Sunday hopefully lifting a leg for you gus ;)
I'm going to be away in port dover, but I'm hitting up Cayuga on Saturday! Have fun Nate!
This would be fun... but have a ball tournament all weekend long!
Give'em hell!

BTW, who is sponsoring the event?
So, Flo, did ya make it out there?
No!

I figured I could of dug the holes for my posts by then...but noooooooo!

Theres a Reason they called this town Rockland.

2.5 days on 3 holes. 2man Auger is useless, you hit a rock, one guy flies. <_<

Were down 4 feet in one hole, 3 feet on the other two, and I'm renting jackhammers tonight.

This deck WILL be done before the end of the month.
Ya should of made it a "floating" deck like I did.
I simply dug 6 - 8 inches and made 16x16 inch cement pads and then put some of those cement blocks that hold the 4x4's in place.
But, I'm not in any clay soil, just well compacted sand/gravel that has been there for centuries :)

Good luck on those holes.

can't, the deck is 9.5 feet high off the ground, and by code I have to have the support poles 4 feet in the ground. I'd like it to stay together to. :P
9.5 feet high... is it a deck or a bridge, lol
j/k

Yeah, well then, I understand. Mine is 20x20 and only 30" off the ground.

it Comes off the main floor, then stairs into the backyard, underneath the deck is the doors to the walk out basement.
