So yesterday I moved. Moving is a lot of work! Even if you hire movers!

Anyway, the place is pretty decent, and tons better than the apartment I lived at. And best of all, it only costs $25/mo more than the tiny apartment, and I get a lot more space AND best part... A GARAGE! Who cares about the rest of the place, I can park my car indoors! I'm happy!

The street light may be outfront but it's one of those ones that only shine down, reducing light pollution and doesn't shine into the house at all! So I don't even care it's there. Plus it's not on my driveway :D

It beats the hell out of this though:

nice lil place u got there......im just about to move out out of Kitchener/Waterloo

is that complex located not far from FisherHallman & Erb by any chance?

and what city did u live in before.......
waterloo is really clean city....
It is.

And I lived in Etobicoke 'round Lakeshore and Royal York.
Congrats on the new place :)

Yeah moving is about as much fun as getting teeth yanked, minus the anesthetic  I vowed after buying my place and moving in 2003 that the next move I make out of there is when the mortician comes to claim my dead body :P

Having a real garage, that's the only thing about condo living I dislike, no extra storage space for car stuff (and believe me some car stuff takes up a heck of a lot of space.... stock muffler assembly for example )

Anyways, hope you enjoy it, looks like you scored a real deal :)

do you have a backyard?
Enjoy the new place. I will be moving to the tri-city area soon enough!

Not a very big one! But that's fine, I don't want to cut any grass anyway. Doubt I'll ever go in it, the BBQ is at the front, why would I want to go to the back?

Thanks guys, I hope I'll enjoy the place. Some quirky people around too.

Edited: s/guy/guys
.....i'm still trying to figure out why some people cook their BBQ in the garage....

backyard is a perfect place for it
I can't figure that out either, who would BBQ in their garage? the garage is for my car!
Just called my insurance company to tell them I moved. My rate dropped to less than half of what I was paying in Toronto. That's freaking awesome!

Congrats on the new place it looks nice, and that insurance rate is thanks to the higher BS that insurance companies place on people that live in Toronto I've had friends move north of Highway 7 and there insurance drops by almost half and me with a good driving record gets hosed because I live in TO.

Laterz :)

unless you drive your car more than 50 kms to get to work, then they'll raise thr rates
^^ good to know, but I wont be driving to Toronto for work. So thankfully it wont go up, unless I do something stupid.
What do you drive, is the black one in that picture?
Were you in Guleph today? Sunday, say in the Rhonda Road neighborhood?
Saw a black SVT with FC.net stickers in my condo co-op, couple units over from mine.
I drive a '99 Subaru Impreza 2.5 RS.

The one in the pic is a ZX5 and it's blue I think. I was up in Muskoka in a friends '06 STi this weekend.
