Attached to the mating SVT air box and then to a JRSC, this setup performed better than just a cone filter. (This according to Oscar Jackson himself during tests with the Big Boost Kit for his supercharger.)
That is why I am looking for the same thing, along with the SVT air box and a SVT MAF if anyone has any.
I can't comment on the Volant, however.
well i don't have a S/C but i just wanna get a better flow to volant...also run the pipe on the side of the box to the lower grill
by then i should have my 2000 ported intake manifold on.....im sure i'll see some changes
i think everyone knows about this
How To
I tried this.
There is no way to properly rig a hose from the side of the Volant. If you try, it runs right into the headlihgt and battery mount and eventually will cause the hose to crimp rendering it useless. I tried that mod 6 years ago!
I have a tough time believing this mod will make your car run any better.
Seriously though, If you can figure a way to do it that doesn't look completely ghetto and functional, show me at the BBQ. I've been looking for a solution to this for years.
Keep in mind that there are a few obsitcles on the way to the lover grille.
P.S.
Dryer hose looks like ass. Nothing says ghetto like mom's dryer hose y0.
I'm just bustin' balls.
well here's where i got the idea from
same tume but at the lower grill
I have one in the rafters of the garage, but it would need to be shipped from Winnipeg.
well pm with the price...
