Just re-use the old gaskets. They don't need to seal liquids just air so they don't deteriorate over time. Make sure you port that sucker first, and not just the TB opening.
Borrow a Dremel if you don't have one, then pick up a tube of JB Weld or similar two-part epoxy, the quick set kind.

This shows you where to put the epoxy at the pinch point.

Down the hole (sorry not the greatest shot).

Where to epoxy at the injectors.

You want to remove that hump under the injector. If you are really careful, port match the opening to match the head; there isn't much material here.

The hardest part of the install is getting to the lower IM bolts underneath. Really, it's easier than it may appear. Give yourself a day to do it, and another day if you plan on porting it out. If you want more info on the porting, ask away as I have done two so far. Good luck and congrats on (finally) finding one!
Why not get new gaskets? His car has over 170k on it from what I hear....probably due for some new ones.
thanks Ian

as soon as i get it in the mail i'll post some photos to let people see if its been ported well or not

from what i hear those gaskets are like $50....grrrr

Yeah but sinc eyou have it open, why not replace them now.
find out how much they are at ford dealer first...and call that guy in the US that gets parts 10% over cost....

After you spend a day putting it on and realize you have a vac. leak or the car is running funny do you want to spend hours and hours troubleshooting. sure maybe things will go fine BUT what if they don't.
ok
can someone post a pic of the exect gasket that i'd need if thats possible?
i called ford....they said there's only one type of a gasket and told me its $31.82

Kev i called that place in states...didn't get to talk to Steave(he's gonna call me back) but talked to some other guy...and he was like "there're 2 kinds...square one and rounded kind"......??? i guess rounded? so there are 4 of them all together he says and each is like $7

do i need to take out my injectors for the swap?
OMG
whoever said that this swap is easy.....is WRONG.....4am and im still not done....f0ck......

im having a big problem with the harness that goes under the intake....but without it being disconected i can't take out the intake....
i wish someone could come over and help....this is depressing :(
here's that damn harness

take a break from it, that thing should just pull apart. I know its tight up there, but it should come with some patience.
its just my car is standing on ramps...so its not that high.....i have to go grap a good jack and 2 car stands......that should give me more room to work
