okay, so I went out and put on my new starter, alternator and battery yesterday, and in the process did my big 3. The only question is, where is the third wire? I did the one going from the battery to the starter and starter to alternator.......where is the third one? I couldnt find a third. If the third was the ground, I did that too, just please, someone let me know, it driving me nuts.

I can't believe you missed the 3 wire........omg.......park the car and don't touch it, call a mechanic you f***ed it right up.......

alternator to battery
engine to chassis. (find the loop and you will see a ground wire. replace that with a bigger wire)
battery to chassis
