Post of the month right there!
Also never buy pedigree or Alpo, they are complete s***. Most brands you buy in a regular store are s***, its probably the equivalent of feeding a human styrofoam with some blood on it.
Most of them have euthinized animals in them and roadkill and sawdust and s***, and feathers

To see how your dog food did check this site out, there is a search bar in the top right corner

i just put my cat down because of kidney failure and she ate pc cat food all the time my wife is so pissed
My cats teeth keep falling out. He wasn't looking so great today, booked him in at the vet tomorrow morning. He scratched at his tooth tonight, it came out, now he's running around fine again.

The first one fell out because he thought he could jump somewhere and smashed his face into the hardwood floor, that while being hilarious for the first second or so wasn't cool.

He eats Iams dry food and PC canned wet food. But neither appear to be on the lists as far as I saw, which is good.
Save yourself some grief and make your own dog food, I make my own and now I am glad that I took the hour to do it.

Laterz :)

I wonder if we'll hear people crying about this recall 6 years from now, though.

Go ahead, post the pic, Anthony, get it over with.

Cause ya know ya want to.... :P

I'm almost crying.

My cat died infront of me at the vet this morning. Everything seemed pretty normal, then they went to get some blood from him and suddenly he's all dying. Then they tried to give him oxygen and stuff but to no success.

Totally never watched something die in front of me before, and felt the still warm body. Made it so much worse than previous pet deaths.

:(

sorry for making the thread depressing...
:( My sympathies.

Was it the food recall?
Nah don't think it was. I think he died of a heart attack, he was a scaredy cat, the stress of it all just killed him. He hates new people, he hates outside, he hates cars, he hates vets sticking thermometers up his butt etc.. he'd been that way since we lived in an apartment where they decided to redo the balconies, using jackhammers etc...
Ouch, my sympathies Aka... not nice to lose a pet that way... :(

NefCanuck
Sorry to hear that Aka, not cool at all. :(
Sorry to hear Aka :(
:(

Thanks guys.
Sympathy to Aka..

I just heard about the recall yesterday but all I feed my cats is the expensive dry stuff from the vet.
