Transport Canada issues latest recalls

Ottawa, Ontario - Transport Canada has issued its latest recalls, which may affect some Bentley, GMC and Saturn vehicles.

2006 Bentley Arnage R
Vehicles affected: 4
On certain vehicles, the fitment of road wheel fixing bolts may be dimensionally incorrect and the bolts may loosen. This could lead to the wheel detaching from the hub. Dealers will replace the wheel bolts.

2007 GMC Acadia
2007 Saturn Outlook
Vehicles affected: 1,066
On certain vehicles, the sensing and diagnostic module (SDM), which controls the front airbag functions, may not operate properly. As a result, the front airbags may fail to deploy in a frontal crash, and the airbag warning lamp may not indicate that the system is inoperative. Dealers will reprogram the SDM.

Now that would be an embarrasing tale at the country club.
