You can get it 2.25" or 2.5" , when I called McNews they were out of the 2.25" and when I got ready to place my order the 2.25" just came in.
This is the size of my RT cat but the flex is the same.
Very nice set up. I haven't looked at this thread until just now. I am guessing that the ceramic coating wont blue with heat? It would be a shame to loose that shine after start up.
This is the first time I'm getting something ceramic coated but I will guess it should not become blue or yellowish like chrome Headers etc.
I'll be starting and driving the car next week so we'll see then... :)
just on the note....was it hard to replace the EGR tube?
It was tough to remove the tube from the exh manifold but I was unable to remove it from the EGR valve itself so I managed to remove the tube with the valve attached to it by squeezing it between the coil and the air box. I called ford to get a new one and it was $190.00 my price ( discounted ) and I found one on Ebay ( a Ford Motorcraft ) brand new for $60.00 usd so I bought a new one and the problem was solved , like you saw on the picture I even got the EGR tube ceramic coated.. :P
I even painted it before installing it..
You probably know the SVT EGR tube and the regular Zetec are different so my kit came with a new one , if you look at the begginning of the thread you see the old tube with the valve attached to it.

haha
That's what I had to do as well.
I was only able to remove the old EGR tube from the stock manifold out of the car.
Small video from Today :
SVT Header kit idle video
Tell me what you think. Don't know until I try the car on the road if I'll be buying the "stealth" resonator or not.
It's not bad, and I take it that was shot with a digital camera's video mode.
It almost makes it sound smaller than it is... like a 1.6 or 1.8 Nissan mill.
With that said, it certainly doesn't resonate such that it's ricey or anything near that.
It's certainly a different tone than I've heard from other Zetec motors, but as NOS dais it isn't a bad sound, just a different one.
I'm just curious, how cold was it when you were doing that vid? You blew an awful lot of white smoke with each throttle blip I noticed...

The car was at normal running temperature but was shooting outside that was colder then the temperature in the garage this is why it had so much condensation. I'll take a better video next week . I'm happy not to have any exhaust leak , looks like the job was done perfectly.
