I would imagine several light coats.

its easy,
prep the lens properly (ie clean well, i used alcohol)
spray many light coats allowing time to dry to at least tacky in between. When done, spray a couple coats of clear coat to get a nice glossy finish.

I think it looks great, especially on a dark colored car

It took me 3 light coats to get the corner markers the way they were. It was clean, run-free and smooth.

It's a good effect on a dark-themed car, irregardless of what's said by others here.

Well i think ultimately now, we tried to steer him in the right direction and he doesn't want to listen, so he can't complain when/if we should start to bug him about his niteshaded parts.

I'm sure the harassment will be in great quantities.

it was when i tried experimenting with a spare set of headlights did things go sour.

Ya. Ive seen it done on other cars but im thinkin it wont look right on the focus.

And at what point did this post become about some one using night shade. Though the slanted comments are wonderful Its not really what this post was for.

I simply remembered some one looking for it a while back so Its there if any one wants it.

I did my tailights on my car an they didnt look too bad but I just got sick of the look so I re-sanded them back down.
