I need a rear strut bar, not a front one. So if its for the rear I would be in for that.

im in on a rear as well

I would be in on one for the front without the air box if the price is right.

FYI, the front bar don't do anything other than looks good and you have something to hold on while working in the engine bay.

^^ i noticed a "little" difference.....
before buyin one....i jumped into my friend's focus with the front strut bar and drove it hard on corners then we took it out and i did them same corners.....there's a difference
i felt it in mine focus as well

one of my 1st mods was the front one. did nothing and sold it a long time ago.
The back one will make a bigger difference.

do u have the rear one on your car?
12-19-2006, 07:49 AM
I noticed a difference with my front one....... now i want the rear :)

the front bar serves little purpose due to the fact that strut mounts are so close to the fire wall. there isnt alot of flex there as it is so its more for looks.

Oh, for the $ the dog bone is a much better deal.

strut bars don't do much, if anything, if they don't triangulate back to a hard point (ie, firewall).
What good is tying together two points that you think need the support because they flex?
If you want your car to handle better, it may be prudent to just save up money for some better tires... as it stands, strut bars on the focus are just weight adders.

either way i wouldnt mind getting one and why not benefit from doin a group buy if theres a bunch of people wanting one or both? if it goes threw which i hope it does then great if not then were on our own just waiting for some help and that
