What is everyone's tints at?
I know the legal limit is 20% back and 35% front but to help smoothen or even
out the difference from front and back do u think i should do my fronts at around 25% or 20%?

i have 20% all the way around + a foot down my windshield and have yet to have a problem
I've got 35% on the fronts and 20% on the rest, no windshield banner though.

I've never been hassled for it yet.
My gf has 35% front and 20% for the rest on her '04 ZX5.
I'm planning on 20% for my '07 ST... whenever it comes in ;)
my tints are on my car...........
20% all around - never had a problem.
20% on the front windows, and 5% on the rear 3 windows. Never had a problem, and i've had it tinted like that for 3 yrs now.
20% on sides and 5% on the rear, got a ticket once for it. Just a prick cop, having a bad day. He pulled a U-turn and chased me down for it LOL. In the end though he never showed for court.
20% all around...no woes
In ontario there is no set "limit" If the cop can't see you then your likely in trouble.
Got 5% on the rears and 20% front. Looks good and I have had no 5-0 troubles.
In SK there is no limit on the rears as long as you have mirrors ( just think about windowless vans), but any amount on the front or front-sides is illegal.

I had my last car tinted to 5% on the rear and I totally regretted it whenever trying to back up at night. I have the Focus tinted 35% around the back 3 windows and like it a lot better. Personally I'd like to be able to see out the windows whenever I'm driving..

You have to be careful with that though, because if a cop sees you with something else like (godforbid) neon lights, he might pull you over and ticket you for having 'dark' windows at the same time.

Although there is no legal 'rule' it is subject to the cops discretion. All it says in the highway and traffic rules is that tint should be light enough not to impair visibility... again, bigtime up to discretion of whatever joe shmoe who pulls you over, in a bad mood because his wife didn't 'perform' last night.

so for plural we're supposed to say, "what are your windows tint at?"

why not try "how much are your windows tinted?" easy enough to say.

Lets be honest we drive focus "tints" sounds way to gangster for a focus.
