well thats it for now
only thing that comes to mind for the oil in the air intake is PCV valve. I had oil in my air intake as well when my engine blew and I think they said it was PCV valve. I can't remember for sure though, let alone if I'm right about the PCV valve of if I'm WAY off.
update just bought 3" stainless steel exhaust.....dunno if you guys ever go on focaljet but i bought jareds
PCV..if its blocked/a faulty valve it reroutes oil back there
i have jay racing plate to catch can
You need to hook up pcv to s vac source or you will get higher pressure in valve cover. Simple fix can also be catch can on breather. The oil around the plug is probably just the valve cover gasket.

To be save just do a comp test on the motor to make sure everything is solid and your not getting too much blowby which can also push pil out the breather. I had the same issue pcv vented to can. Getting oil out the breather.
well the car is apart so i cant do compression test now doesnt the car have to be running lol

afaik you just have to turn the engine over/crank it over, no?
heres the exhaust i bought next to his new 4" aluminum exhaust

ideally your car would be running yes, to warm the engine up to operating temp, else I guess you may get wonky results. I'd say route the pcv through the catch and to the intake, and add a secondary catch to the breather if your worried about oil. It is normal for boosted cars to blow a little oil out of the breather, bad thing about that is oil lowers octane and thus increases detonation. Boosted on the track, pushing it hard, with high temps....this isn't a good scenario.

I'm in the process of making a dual catch can that is correctly made with the proper baffles for both pcv and breather on my car. For now i'm not pushing it too hard and just going to route pcv and breather back to where they should be. Its also nice to be able to monitor how much oil is blowing out of there...i'm not sure how much is too much....I do know that none is good, but even cars that are stock and driven hard I see a bit of oil in the intake.
will be doing a compression test tonight so stay tuned for some numbers cross your fingers and toes everything checks out good
you got some detonation going on, who did your tune?

where is that tube going? the one hooked up to where the oil seperator was supposed to be.
