Delphi to provide hybrid powertrain technologies for Ford

Detroit, Michigan - Delphi Corporation has been selected by the Ford Motor Company to provide hybrid electrical powertrain systems technologies for two Ford hybrid vehicle platforms. The announcement was made at the 2006 Convergence Conference in Detroit, Michigan.
Delphi will provide the battery pack systems and cooling systems for the 2008 Ford Fusion Hybrid and its sister Mercury Milan Hybrid (a model not sold in Canada). It will also provide hybrid vehicle electronics for several other vehicle customers who have not yet been named.
