No denial about it. Just staying positive. Like I said. I have alot more to say once this is over. And unless your a true Ducks fan... which your most likely not.. then the whole ledge thing goes both ways since your team didnt end up with the cup this year it would seem..
And frankly if things go sour the run was fun as hell. Had some good parties, and met some good people all while cheering on our team...
Im not into the you like the Leafs I like the Sens so we hate each other by default thing, its kind of petty. Im a fan of Good Hockey first, Sens second. Fortunately I get both right to the end.

Not great hockey if your a Sens fans. The Ducks are by far the superior team.

Ya they have definately not being playing full games but the first three series were great, and they are still playing so I get to still watch and actually care about what happens.

Nah, it really doesn't soften the bitter crush of disappointment.

when the Sabres got knocked out, there was a resounding F-bomb that went off, and then you could hear crickets in the house. 5 minutes later of looking at the blank TV (we turned it off and nearly broke the remote in the process), my brother quietly says.. "what do we do now?"

And you could see all of the people leaving parties and things, all quiet. Not the usual honking and carrying on and everything we were used to.

It was like a ghost town.

I hope the Sens force a game 6. They will probably loose game 6 and the Ducks will hoist the cup in Ottawa, but mark my words, that will be the closest physical location in Canada to Toronto that the cup gets hoisted in any of our lifetimes.......... :D

They were no match.

As a fan of hockey, that was a bad Stanley Cup Final. The Stanley Cup was played the last round when the Ducks won.

Good team, but not a great team.
