And to them, this is normal. Nuts. And it's "Russian Federal highway Moscow city - Yakutsk City" not North Bay!

Quote:This is Russian Federal highway Moscow city - Yakutsk City, named “Lena”, nowadays.

The road doesn’t have asphalt surface, though it is a Federal, vital highway.

Every time it rains the road gets paralyzed, these shots are made a few days before the traffic jam for 600 cars got stuck there. Hunger and lack of the fuel followed, according to the witnesses. One woman gave a born to a child right in the public bus she was riding.

Construction team afraid to appear on site because during their previous visit it was beaten by people who stuck in the jam for a few days. People breaking the locks on the trucks, in a search of food and warm cloths.

Fuel, food, firearms and steel tow-line are the things that are needed most these days on this Federal highway.
That's where Anthony's going for his honeymoon. Better not bring the Focus, she's probably slammed to far for Moscow.

At least you won't worry about speeding tickets.
I've already been on my honeymoon.

Wow, something worse than Falconbridge Highway in Sudbury!

Jeez, even the road to Montcalm mine in Timmins is way better than that!

I've been to many parts of Afghanistan ( through the Salang Tunnell where the Russians were obliderated in the late 70's  ) and never have I seen a "highway" like that
Just goes to show that people are just as dumb no matter where you are from or live..

" hey we just had 60 billion inches of rain, let's go for a drive down the dirt highway!!"

Then you find an appropriate means of travel that doesn't entail your sedan traversing 3 feet of mud. I thought common sense was independent of language or location?
I find it very ironic that Russian DOT should post a speed limit of 70 km/h on that road :D Федеральная трасса, твою мать...
