I think all American Version Front Fog Lights are plastic Anthony. there is a product you can use on them to make them clear again, someone started a thread in here about it, I know Standard Auto Wreakers offers a cleaning service for yellow / faded plastic lights.
I know OEM European Front Fog Lights are Glass, but you'd have to get the lower Euro Grill for them to fit right from what I heard so far.

Try Meguiars PlasticX, and if that doesn't help then consider a stronger abrasive. I usually have some PlasticX in my trunk, I can help buff it out on the 24th if you want.
I thought you were a clean freak? I must be worse off than you, I would have noticed such damage. Quarterly, I buff and polish the headlights, fogs, and taillights to prevent oxidation, and I have yet to see my parent's 94 Escort head/taillights go yellow as it gets the same treatment (almost :P ).

Yeah, the north american fog lights have always been plastic.. the euro lamps have glass lenses. Hopefully you can un-yellow them easily, since buying the euro glass ones can be expensive..
