At a local auto-x this weekend in Vancouver, Kuhmo (the sponsor) unveiled in canada for the first time (as far as i know) its color smoke tires.

he had 1 red and 1 yellow tire on, and in 2 burnout session took them down to cords. rumor has it that the tires cost like 2000 each.

Great for burn out comps... other than that, meh. I'd love to see the cost on those too, and just to burn them out, I guess you'd have to enjoy burning money to see them smoke.

i believe they have been using them in the US formula drift series since last year.

yea i'd say that would be kinda expensive to do burnouts

I remember when they first announced them (and showed them on top gear).... pretty cool to have 2 different colours that mix into another colour...

by the way... I can't wait for someone to try the scented tires they have..
