where did I ever say that Ford doesn;t have its follies on problems
like
1. all my wagons had to get a 4 hour repair of the body to hatch harness
2. all my cars needed a new ignition
3. all 3 of my wagons had a exploding spring incident
4. 2 of my 4 have had to get a new valve gasket after the oil destroyed the thermostat housing
everyones had there vollies of problems the only car that was run into the ground without major problems was our old Pontiac tempest, 3 accidents yet almost no damage that couldn't be repaired with 12 pack of beet 3 cans of spray paint and to many good laughs
Ive YET to have a Fire started in my car FROM the car or an engine that couldn;t hold its own and blew its sides out
as for your power window motor not working and your glass exploding not many realize those regulators have enuf power to pop a window if you hold the close button while hitting the glass.. yours probably had a short
as for my Ailing 91 Ford Aerostar its got so many problems it would probably fill the post to its max between the body separating from its frame, major MAJOR electrical problems yaddy yaddy yeah its a piece of junk but my dad lived through 1 massive accident and one moderate and walked away from both (Different Aerostars)
As for the Fords radio going south blame the manufacturer of the radio I have (counts) 23 identical stock single cd changer radios with blown FM receiver Crystals
the point im saying is all manufacturers have an endless list of endless bugs/problems but ive yet to see a ford eject a seat and kill children STILL seatbelted in.. yeah all manufacturers have had many deaths resulted in cars but when seen in person its heartbreaking and nauseating
the stone chip cracking could be result in the location on where the body needs strength for flexing which the windshield takes a major roll in it
RIP 1995 Ford Aerostar (i only have this one after the accident the first one was never returned after the accident by the police) and yes the van did snap the concrete pole and it was estimated impact of 100+ and yes the sliding door did separate from the van it was found about 40 feet away in the field
And don't forget the 2000 Focus wagon I walked away from after the black ice incident where I slide sideways into the path of a dual fuel tanker truck
Im allowed to voice my admiration of safety on Ford Products cuz my family is STILL ALIVE after NUMEROUS impacts and I was NOT alone in the wagon I was the passenger
