Hey Guys,
Little question my parents in law own a 2002 Ford Taurus. Their front power windows have failed. Is there any way to get them back up manually? Or to test what is wrong with the door. Already checked the fuse in the power distrubution box.

check the driver side door and make sure none of the wires are cut between the door and the body.
Also is there any relays?
Not sure about the relays. Took the passenger side door off to have a look. Couldn't see anything wrong. Can the drivers side door affect the passenger side switches?
is it both sides on the front?
could be from water getting into the switches as one possible reason why they are not working, and if that is the case, the 1996 ~ 2005 Ford Taurus and 1996 ~ 2000 Mercury Sable all have the same switch and they are all interchangeable, so you can get these locally at your scrap yard if it is they are shorted out from water.

yes you should of checked the driver side. bc you have the master control in the driver's side it controls all the windows from there.
Thanks Guys. I'll check those out and report back. Is there any test to check to see if the switch is the problem?
