Easy come easy go.

Its exactly like the most of the guys who work on our ships. We fly them in from NF or wherever to work on the lakes for a couple months, they make a pant load of money, go back home and they blow it all on booze, casinos, pick em up trucks, snow machines or there wives just spend it before they are even home. The never accumulate positive net worth.

Some of guys have been at it for decades making really big money but still exist pay cheque to pay cheque and are always on the UIC. The trick to these sorts of jobs where you do make good money fast is to plan and exercise self control otherwise you are better of staying where you are now.

If that guy makes 250,000... good. He'll be broke / broken by 35.

I'd rather have a "classic" job with a salary than bust my ass for extra cash but be away from home for weeks at a time.

Alberta's market will tank, it just takes time.
wtf i did not realize just how much money was being made there. geez. that's excellent
My friend works in Grand Prarrie as a consultant and makes 25k a month and hes 25. He has his own company now and flys around Canada and the States. Everyday he asks me to come up there and tells me he could set me up with a sweet job, but I love the city to much. To tell you the truth with the amount of knowlege he has about that area he says it wont tank for another 200 hundred years, there is just so much oil and minerals in the land.
