Hey Ill get some pics of this tonight after work but after ive waxed countless times ive notices that my mirrors and door handles and turning white where I have probibly gotten wax on them.....

Ive tried a few different things to stop it but I cant seem to get it off. ANY one have any ideas.
Armor all cleaner and a toothbrush.

Either that or simplegreen diluted and a toothbrush.

For a guy who knew so much about car cleaning...I'm suprised you didn't know this. :P
I did it too,
You can actually use a pink eraser on the plastic parts and it takes it right off.

Even mothers has "back to black" it works amazingly! :)
Dont get my wrong Ive scrubbed at it with Armour all and a few other products but It does not seem to come off. Ill try what yea said but Im pretty sure Ive done that with other products and had no luck.

And did it work?? :)
Really a Pink Rubber Eraser.... Hmm. I would have thought that would take the paint off the mirror...... Or turned the white to pink lol

If the back to black will take the white off then id get some and scrub it with a tooth brush.

Sofar Ive used Armour all, Maguires Next Tec Cleaner. And some otherstuff called Trim Shine. But still the white marks remain.

Ive also been a little weary about what I scrub it with because I didnt want to strip the paint off them and end up with white mirrors till I replace them.
the back to black needs to be applied and then buffed off, coudl be the same with the other trim stuff you have too. check the directions
Wate for picutres. Ill post them tonight after work and we will see what yea think.

The eraser works great at removing the wax off all the black plastic bits. I've only tried it right after waxing, so I am not sure how it will work on old build up.
Yea. Well keep the Ideas comming thought the day. Ill read em when I get home tonight. And maybe just maybe there will be some Idea that gets this stuff off..... Cause its not just mirrors. My front grill, door handles, trunk lip aswell and its just starting to get on my nerves.

I have this exact same problem with my car...the black parts insist on turning white/grey after I wash it. I really like using the trim shine, as it's non-greasy...

I think I'll try some of the stuff you guys suggested...
Ok well there are not going to be pictures cause... My camera is busted.... 1 week left on the warrenty to... :: Swish ::

But Im gonna get an eraser and give it a test. Just gotta buy one.

I also stoped and talked to ford today just for kicks and he is like we will have to get them painted.....
I chuckled at him and mentioned I could get all new aftermarket stuff on ebay for 1/3rd the price.... He looked unhappy with me. lol
Extra post by mistake sorry......
well one option is if you take the mirrors off the car and sand them smooth and paint them a la SVT / Euro mirrors with glossy black and body coloured inserts and then they will be waxable as they will be painted and no longer flat black plastic.

Thats if you can't get the marks off the car.

The bonus to painting is you'll never have to worry about amor alling them again as you can wax them, and they will make your car look more clean looking.
Yea I was looking at some Aftermarket mirrors that need to be painted. There are a few I like but Not for the cash I wanna drop.

How does everyone feel about the Ebay aftermarket mirrors... Ive looked but I dont know of the quality.
PEANUT BUTTER

trust me, it works, the oils in it remove the wax residue, just dont get the chunky stuff.
They are going white because of the build-up of wax from washing your car. Have you ever sprayed the car with that wax in a bottle, or at the coin-op?

If so, there's your problem.

Take some simplegreen in a little contianer, get your mom's toothbrush (that is if she has teeth) and massage the cleaner into the plastic parts. Wash with soapy water, dry and apply some Mother's Back to Black.
Yea Im gonna do what every one said to do.
I'm just gonna rip all that crap off and paint it. Problem solved
