More to the point:

"The individuals who were involved in these incidents have been removed from the reclamation site [in Caledonia] until our investigation is complete."

And what the HELL does that mean? They're above the law and will be segregated until they can be punished? What about the cameramen? I would expect charges to be laid by the OPP.

And they (the OPP) conveniently have a policy of not entering the reserve - whether that's a long-standing policy or a new one, the article didn't elaborate. How convenient. Assault visiting police officers, assault an elderly couple and then assault the media. When confronted, run away like f***ing cowards to their reserve. And they wonder why natives have bad press and public stigmas associated with them!?!?!
I'm more disgusted with the OPP than anyone else right now. Imagine if it were one of their own getting whacked over the head, those OPP would have been in there like a ricer to the new fast & furious movie.
