Okay here is the problem, the rear driver's side door does not open from inside or outside of the car?? When you pull on each handle it does nothing, it kinda sounds like the rods are not online anymore??
Is it possible to get the interior panel off with out having the door open??
Suggestions?? Or is this definitely a dealer issue??

i belive there are screws at the bottom of the door panel and i dont see how you gona get them out without opeing the door?
go to the dealer and make em fix it..
you wont be able to remove the door skin with the door stuck shut...and you need to remove the skin to get at the handle and latch assemblies

You've probably already thought of this ... but maybe it's a lock problem. If for example your lock wasn't unlocking (power locks?) and the child safety latch was set to deny opening from inside - you would get the exact sypmtoms you describe.
Having said that ... I'm not sure how that might help except yoiu could possibly shimmy the lock if that was indeed the problem.
Maybe its a ZX3.

I don't think he put the Child saftey lock on as for all of us are moved out of the house, and has no need to use that. I guess it is off to the stealership for him!!

There is a recall on 4-doors to have the rear door locks swapped out....has he had this done yet?

Do the sedans have 'child safety lock switches' in them? I can't remember. That would explain the inside not working but the outside should.
good luck figuring it out. it is potentially a manufacturer default. but I dont understand how they will get at it when the door has to be OPEN to deal with these types of issues!
Update... called him and and asked about the recall, and he said that he did get the recall letter but has yet to bring it in to get fixed!
Guess he does now!!! LOL
