Evan, I'm pretty sure they're different.. probably different lengths. Most websites advertise wires specifically for the Zetec, not the SPI.

Absolutely not. The size of the sparkplug "hole" in the block for the Zetec is larger than the SPI. SPI/CVH wires will fit the SPI (Escort, Ranger, anything else that used the CVH 1.9L / 2.0L SPI), but Zetec wires will only fit a Zetec block.

SPI wires may fit a Zetec, but the boot shape / size is different and might not reach correctly. I'd advise against that idea, myself.

Nos is right, the boot is different from a zetec plug wire to an SPI plug wire.
